Making a quick turn to Shaun and Dale’s home country during a busy schedule for SEETHER, it’s been almost 6 years since the band last performed their signature power rock show in South Africa. ONE SHOW ONLY will be that rock concert everyone’s been waiting for and 20 May will see Marks Park in Emmarentia come alive with the sounds of SEETHER as they belt out the hits that have become anthems and give the first live performance of songs from the new album on African soil.
Poison the Parish is the multi-platinum selling band’s seventh studio album and was released in May 2017 - debuting at # 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart and #14 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. Recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, it marked the first album produced entirely by front man Shaun Morgan and was released through Morgan’s newly launched label imprint, Canine Riot Records (via Fantasy.) So far, the album has spawned two top rock radio hits, “Let You Down” which reached the #1 spot for four consecutive weeks and the top 5 rock radio hit, “Betray and Degrade.”
