RIVKAH HOPE PRESENTS: GLOBETROTTER

Rivkah Hope brings fans her much-anticipated EP, "Globetrotter". The 5 track album embodies Rivkah's nomadic travels over the last few years as she has been moving all over the globe to create music.

"Globetrotter tells tales of places visited and lessons learned during my time as a gypsy."

The album promotes a very defined theme. Rivkah has become a global citizen in her own right and has drawn inspiration from all her travels. From the cities she has lived in, to the emotional toll the music world has on it's inhabitants, every song is authentic and takes on a biographical tone.

"The sound is soulful and authentically influenced by so many different cultures and genres picked up on my travels."

Rivkah worked with many producers in studios in nearly every city she has visited to ensure the highest quality product that speaks to her diverse audience. From NY to Cape Town, her sound is as broad as her talents are plentiful.

The tales from these travels are endless and it is best that every song speaks for itself.

Tracklist:

As an independent artist Rivkah has built her own career through blood, sweat and tears and as is often the case, she became consumed by the industry. "Fire the alarm" is an emergency call. A call for change. Reaching out for the help she needed to face the phycological and physiological challenges the industry brings.

3) Worst is Over

Producers: Tymoteusz Kozłowski, Charlie Hamilton

Written in Warsaw, Poland

Recorded in Cape Town, SA and Warsaw, Poland

This song is an anthem to say that there is hope - "the worst is over, dry those eyes, look up the skies are clearer".

4) California

Producers: Tymoteusz Kozłowski, Charlie Hamilton

Written in Cape Town, South Africa and Long Island, NY

Recorded in Long Island, New York and Cape Town, South Africa

Rivkah has a long history with New York City and couldn't help but wonder "don't people just want to escape the big apple?" . California seemed to provide such an escape. The upbeat summer track features rappers from NY-based Nice and iLL (Cee Mizz and J Yard and Joey Jack ) who also express a desire to leave the noise of the city.

5) Back to the Basics

Producers: Tymoteusz Kozłowski, Charlie Hamilton

Written in Cape Town, South Africa and Long Island, NY

Recorded in Long Island, New York and Cape Town, SA

This anthem is a call to fellow musicians to realise the true purpose of their music. Artists need to get "back to the basics" and break out of the molds. This is true for artists and listeners alike. "Kudos to people who are keeping it real!"
