Dan Patlansky has released a new music video for his latest single, "Dog Day". "Dog Day" is the first single from his new album, " Perfection Kills", which will be released worldwide on 2 February 2018. "Dog Day" was the last song to be written for the new record, only a week prior to tracking the album. The inspiration for the song was to take a look at first world problems and to see how meaningless they are in reality. The video for the single was shot at the end of 2017 in Central Pretoria in the beautiful reception area of the old Capitol Theatre, as well as the streets of Pretoria. The video was shot and directed by Dizzy Khaki, who also came up with the concept for the video. “Dizzy Khaki did a great job converting the song and its meaning into a visual format. The video features a performance element combined with a storyline of a guy having a bad day in a first world, which isn’t so bad. His car won’t start, he runs through town to get home, only to learn his house keys are still in his car.” - Dan Patlansky.
