NEW BITTEREINDER MUSIC VIDEO: JAKKALS TROU (2014 REMIX)

Today sees the official release of a brand new music video by BITTEREINDER for a remixed version of their track - JAKKALS TROU. The video was shot mostly at Arcade Empire in Pretoria over the course of a week. The song was inspired by a study in contrasts and paradoxes, initiated by a particularly lovely day in Amsterdam in 2011 when a soft drizzle was glistening in the sunlight like little diamonds. “We feel this video is the perfect way to celebrate the 100 live shows we've played over the past three and a half years, as well as being a bridge between our last album DIE DINKDANSMASJIEN and the new one (currently being written!). We're also amped that so many people came out to volunteer their dance moves at the shoot.” Whilst the original track has a great big bouncy outro, the remix maintains that bounciness more consistently, it boogies harder and longer. Fans basically constitute the entire ‘glow-in-the-dark’ video and the video shoot ended up being just as raucous as many of BITTEREINDER’s live shows. “Everyone's engaged in that struggle to find the balance between all the continuums and poles and contradictions of our lives. That's what Jakkals Trou is about really.”
