AKING are releasing two new music videos back-to-back. They have given two filmmakers, Ferdinand van Zyl and Barry de Villiers, a platform to showcase their experiments in South African New Wave Cinema.
First in line is the opening track, Prey to the Birds, from their SAMA winning album, Morning After.
The band thinks this video is “pretty crazy” and have previously warned that this video might induce epileptic fits.
In Loving Memory out soon
In Loving Memory will be released on the 6th of October 2015.
This emotive music video is a film noir short film. The story was visualized from the lyrics.
“In loving memory of what could've been
A moment of silence sinks in
Shake me by the shoulders, it‘s only a dream
We carry our homes with us.”
