LATEST NEWS FROM GANGS OF BALLET


This weekend sees the return of 5 times SAMA nominated band, GANGS OF BALLET, to Gauteng to play in Pretoria, Johannesburg and then at the prestigious SAMA Awards on Monday.

Viewers tuning into the live broadcast of the 20th Annual South African Music Awards may want to shield their eyes lest they are blinded by the sheer star power on display – including electrifying performances by some of the country’s hottest music acts.

SAMA 20 organiser RISA – the Recording Industry of South Africa – have released an appetizer of what audiences can expect to see during the live broadcast of the main awards ceremony. It will be aired from 20h30 on SABC1 on Monday, 28 April 2014.

In a dynamic rock/soul collaboration that’s sure to be gooseflesh-inducing, GANGS OF BALLET will be performing with newcomerNaima Kay - the two artists boast an astounding nine nominations between them.

GANGS OF BALLET has been nominated for 5 SAMA Awards for Best Rock Album for 'yes/no/grey.', Best Group, Best Newcomer and Best Producer and Best Engineer (both Darryl Torr).
